| It has been quite a long time since I've written in xanga. Ever since I got my livejournal, I've just stuck to that. It's much better by the way. Anyways, I figure I would post here, because all of the cosmos kids have xangas, and those are the only people who read my xanga. So - the other day my friend James and I were walking through the UCD campus, and I really wanted to walk towards the Tercero halls, so I dragged him along there. I admit that it was one of the most nostalgic things I have experienced. Everywhere I walked I remembered last summer, walking along the pathway towards the buildings, passing the cafeteria, just wandering about where we used to. I went over the ping pong room, which I haven't seen in almost a year, and they have covered the doors with blinds, so I couldn't look in. I saw cosmos people walking in and out of the building, I saw them walking around, and they gave us weird looks. Did we ever have any random people walking around in our area before? Their name tags are uglier than ours. I really wish I just walked up to one of them and started a conversation, but I felt really intrusive, so we walked around the back of the A building and left. I saw them though sitting on the building porches talking to each other, and them in the downstairs room watching the television or talking on their cell phones. I can't believe it's already been a year since I was there, so excited and happy. Well, that's it for now. I hope you all are having a superb summer, I miss all of you, come to Davis again and visit me. | | |

| Last night was pretty fun, Fiasco was awesome. Some things I didn't want to see happened, some things made me really confused, I don't know...but overall it was good. | | |

| Anyways, looks like I haven't updated in a while. Well, many things have occured since last Saturday, lol, lots of funny things. But, right now, I am not in the mood of writing all of those down, I feel very full of yummy food. I'm feeling pretty chipper these days, happy about almost everything, haha, except homework! Everything else is going nicely, and I'm happy to be on this world. I watched "Cry Freedom", which I recommend, it was about apartheid in South Africa. Just everything about it is very depressing, and makes you really appreciate what you have. Then, I started reading about Hiroshima, and how when a person is near "ground zero", which is the landing area of a nuclear bomb, they turn into vapor and ash. It was so sad, it made my heart ache. I watched a movie about nuclear war, a fiction, basically what would happen if the world had a huge nuclear war. Gee...this is making me sad. I hope that we will not have a nuclear war, just thinking about people, plants, all living things (except cocaroaches) being turned to ash and vapor, really makes me feel like I have a knot in my stomach.
Well, I'm going to change the subject to a more happy and light topic. Today was another Debate Team meeting, I'm glad I'm in Debate, it's so cool!! This year's general topic is whether or not Congress should pass a policy that increases the protection of marine life. I can't wait until the next tournament (Oct. 25th), but I really have to prepare, and I'm not even sure who my partner is yet. Mrs. Hauber said that Sam and I should be partners, but Sam doesn't even want to do debate, he was just there because he needed a ride from his sister, who is the captian of the team. I think I'm either going to be Kaylin or Hannah's partner. yup yup, exciting stuff. Oh, I also had Health Advocates today, I have to research some things on nutrition and eating disorders... Another club...lol, geez, there are way too many clubs on Tuesdays. Guitar club, I only go to go for about 7 seconds, because I got out of Health Advocates, and then I thought that it was in N-2, but it was actually M-2. Oh well, the main teacher guy said we could bring our guitars next week, I don't know if I will, maybe I'll just skip the Health Advocates meeting next week. That's what I wanna do.
This Friday is the concert for Fiasco, Braces, and some other band. I think I'll go to that instead of the football game. I really want to see what Fiasco sounds like, because supposedly they are very, very good. So, yup, if I have time I'll update you about it, um, that is if I have time. Now I'm going to do my math homework, or listen to the Used or Josh Groban...I like really different music, hehe. | | |
